Rilke CMS: News
Posted: 09/03/2003
Rilke CMS is different from other open source content management systems in that it is easy to learn and use, and does not have a blocky look-and-feel.
It relies on five built-in CSS layouts/themes which can be changed with a single click.
Rilke CMS is currently available in English and German.
A live demo of Rilke CMS 0.95 beta is available at:
http://www.rilkecms.com/demo/
Rilke CMS 0.95 beta is a big feature release. It also fixes many long standing bugs.
New Features in 0.95 beta include:
* A redesigned default theme
* A built in permissions / user-level system (writer, editor, administrator)
* A complete user interface for adminstering users (only available to administrators)
* Customizable Links (via a styled drop down menu)
* Customizable Blogroll + Integrated Mini RSS Feed Aggregator
* A customizable contact info block
This release also fixes many bugs, including the (remaining) bugs that occured with register globals turned off in PHP.
The total number of major changes (including feature additions and bug fixes) is 20.
For a detailed list of changes, please review the Changelog.
